October 2025 Prayer Letter

Fellow laborers in Christ,

Blessings and provision. We are extremely grateful to report that we have had many answered prayers since our last letter. As for finances, we are now at 98% support coming in, and near 100% with commitments! Very thankful to have several more wonderful churches that are praying and partnering with us. We learned that we were officially approved for our visa. We mailed our passports back to D.C., and already have them back stamped with our 1-year visa! Having that completely taken care of is a huge blessing and I’m glad to check that off our to-do list so soon. Another answered prayer is that we have found a house to rent! It is about an hour away from the church via public transportation, but travel time will be half that once we are able to get a vehicle.

Declan putting in the work!

Wrapping things up. In addition to everything else, we also packed, stacked, and wrapped two pallets and sent them off to our freight company; they will soon be crossing the Atlantic on a cargo ship, and should arrive in late December or early January. Thankfully, we get to cross on a plane.

The joys of travel

We have two meetings left, and 18 days until our flight to Czechia – its hard to believe we’re at this point! The last thing we have to take care of before leaving is selling our van (please pray we can also get that done quickly). We are grateful to have several weeks back with our home church before we fly out.

Unexpected blessing. My wife Eternity took a fall several months ago and bruised her tailbone pretty severely. Because of that, she had an MRI that revealed some other health concerns. God can use anything for good! One of our immediate goals once in Czechia, other than moving into our house, will be finding the right doctor. She is still in quite a bit of pain, so prayers that she is able to be comfortable during our 13 hours of flying are much appreciated.

Please continue to pray for us in these areas:

  • Prague Baptist Church to stay encouraged and faithful
  • Traveling safety and health
  • Language learning
  • Transitioning to living in the Czech Republic
  • Selling our minivan before leaving the U.S
