Fellow laborers in Christ,
Purchasing plane tickets! The first week of September we will be purchasing our plane tickets to leave on November 19th. We are now at 85% support coming in, with an additional 5% committed – praise the Lord! With the meetings we have scheduled from now until the beginning of November, we are praying and trusting the Lord to supply the needed support. Additionally, we had a huge answer to prayer: we were initially told that we would be required to have an in-person visa appointment in D.C., but weren’t hearing back about an appointment; Eternity was able to get in contact with a lady at the D.C. embassy that informed us that we could simply mail our visa application to them (while also apologizing for the information on the embassy website being out of date). We mailed the applications August 11th and they were processed 3 days later. Now we wait for an answer from Prague, which should come within 60 to 90 days.

A flurry of activity. From ordination, to missions conferences, revivals, my sister’s wedding, and soon a send off for my brother-in-law and sister, Jeshua and Kiska Carter, as they move to Portugal, we have stayed busy. The reality of leaving is also setting in for our kids, and the emotion of saying good-bye one last time is becoming evident. We are thankful for the schedule God has given us, and the opportunity for our family to make many new friends, as well as time to be back at our home church to see old friends. Please keep Elizabeth, Declan, and Lily in your prayers as they will undoubtedly struggle with such a drastic change in their lives.

News from Czechia. I received a call from one of the men in the church, Bro. David, and he shared with me that God has been working on his heart about surrendering to preach. What a wonderful surprise it was! We are extremely excited and thankful for both he and his wife surrendering to God’s direction for their family, and I’m eager to help train and co-labor with Bro. David in Prague. Please pray for him and his family, as there are often spiritual attacks when a family surrenders in obedience to God.
Please continue to pray for us in these areas:
- Prague Baptist Church to stay encouraged and faithful
- Traveling safety and health
- Language learning
- God’s leading on deputation
- Visa approval
- Our family to be used to minister to churches on the road
Enabled by Him,
