Praise the Lord we are at 80% support raised. We are thankful for the churches that have partnered with us and a handful that have increased their monthly support over the past several months. It’s always exciting to hit milestones, and with this one we are setting our leave date for the third week of November this year. We have a couple of areas that we are praying the Lord would bless in to make that timeframe possible.
First, our visas. Earlier this year we sent all our required documents over to Czechia to have them court translated so they would be valid for our visa application. At the end of June we received our completed visa packet, and now we are just waiting to receive a visa appointment. Please pray that the Lord would open up a date and approve the visas quickly. The visa processing time from the date of the appointment can take between 60 to 120 days, which is why our desire is to have the appointment sooner rather than later.
Second, our support. We have a little less than 5 months to raise the remainder of our support, and we know the Lord can do it. We’re excited to see God use this last half of the year and are thankful that He is always in control!
A small part. It’s always a privilege to be used by the Lord. At the beginning of June, the Lord used Eternity’s testimony to show a lady of her need of forgiveness, and she was gloriously saved. Additionally, I had an opportunity to preach a couple of messages during a week of church camp in Ohio this summer. God really worked in hearts (mine included) and it was a blessing to see several saved and others make decisions throughout the week. We are pleased to report: God is still good and still on the throne!
Ordination. I will be ordained by my church July 11th in Oklahoma City. If you just happen to be nearby and free, it would be a blessing to have you join us at Beth Haven Baptist Church at 7pm!
