Preparing leave. We are still praying that God would allow us be in Prague before the end of November 2025. We are currently at 70% support raised – praise God! With our time on deputation drawing to an end, we have started preparing our visa packet that we will submit later this year. The biggest hurdle is making sure we have all the documents required and having them translated through an authorized entity. We ran into a snag with the first batch of documents we mailed over, but should have everything needed in the mail and on its way to Czechia around mid-May.
Health struggles. March and April seemed to have a lot of sickness in store for our family, with a couple hospital visits necessary to get over some illnesses (strep throat in particular). We are thankful for the prayers and understanding pastors and churches we’ve been with as Eternity and the kids had to miss a handful of services while contagious. Travel and sickness are no fun, but we seem to all be healthy at the moment! Thank you for those praying for our wellbeing on the road.
Seeing God move. It never ceases to amaze us getting to see God work. We’ve been blessed to be part of many services and conferences these past two months (8 missions conferences to be exact — we’ve been busy!) and several big outreach days. It’s been a joy to see several saved and God move in the hearts of congregations around the States. The cherry on top was that our youngest, Lily, accepted Christ and we had an opportunity to be back at our home church and baptize her. God continues to be gracious to our family, and we are even more energized and excited to head over to Czechia!
