We’re loving it. Our hearts are full and we are immensely blessed; God has continued to direct our steps. The past two months have been teeming with churches where we have been encouraged, challenged in God’s Word, and spent time with some of God’s choicest servants. Additionally, we’ve had the blessing of crossing paths with family, old friends, and new friends that are old friends Jon and Emilie Rettig.
Ups and downs. As we travel, we are constantly reminded that we are not just wrestling against flesh and blood, and the churches we visit face the same. Praise God that we are on the winning side and that every struggle and fight is worth it. Please pray for our family and the churches we visit that God would help, heal, and uphold the hurting. As for our family, we’ve now logged our 3rd ER visit this year! Declan became quite sick and was having some concerning symptoms in mid-October. Thankfully, God knew where we needed to be, and the area we were in (Lake Worth, TX) had a top notch children’s hospital that diagnosed and treated Declan within the day. Also, an unexpected encouragement: we learned of another young man who was saved earlier this year during a visit to one of the churches we presented at.
Closer to Prague. Prayers and support continue to come in as we continue down the deputation trail! We’ve had 10 churches in the past 30 days start supporting us financially. Please pray for us as we are filling out our schedule for next year – many more miles on the road are yet to come. Pray that we drive them safely and efficiently! One last thing: We will be taking a trip to spend almost two weeks in Czechia in December; please pray that God uses this time to be an encouragement to the people of Prague Baptist, and that we are able to accomplish some groundwork for our eventual move to Czechia. God is good!
