Pictured: Sunday lunch with some of the members of Prague Baptist
Fellow laborers in Christ,
Greetings from Prague! This past week, we’re thankful to celebrate 10 years of marriage and have thoroughly enjoyed spending more time with the people of Prague Baptist. We arrived on Christmas Day, just in time for the Wednesday service. The days have gone quickly, and we’ve learned so much during our time here. It was a blessing to preach the Sunday service and to be encouraged by one of the visitors who has been faithfully attending. Through a member translating, he told me he wished we could move to Prague immediately—I told him I wished the same! We have one more service on January 1st, which I will also be preaching, before heading back to the U.S. on January 3rd.
A wonderful first year of deputation. 2024 has been filled with answered prayers, growth in our faith, and quite a bit of driving! Several churches have informed us that they will begin supporting us in January or plan to vote on potentially taking us on for support that month. This should bring us to over 60% of our needed support. Our prayer and desire is to finish deputation and arrive in Czechia before the end of 2025. Please pray with us that, God willing, our deputation process will be expedited and that His hand will continue to be with the people of Prague Baptist in our absence.
A huge thank you. We are deeply grateful for the many brothers and sisters who have sacrificed their time, resources, and prayers on our behalf. Please know that God has used you to minister to our family. It is humbling to be used by Him in any way, and we are thankful for the three testimonies of salvation He allowed us to witness as God used our family this past year. To God be the glory! We are excited, encouraged, and eager to see what He will do in 2025.
Please also continue to pray for us in these areas:
- Prague Baptist, traveling safety and health, language learning, God’s leading on deputation, and our family to be used to minister to churches.
